Midwest Raceway

Welcome to Midwest Raceway. Thank you for racing with us.

The following is a list of rules but does not necessarily include all rules. If you have any questions, please ask. The owner/operator reserves the right to add, delete, or modify any rule.

Bracelets must be kept on for the duration of the race.

No oil change or fuel dumping on premises—including trash barrels.

This is in accordance with state law.

Please keep your current number during the season after your first race. NHRA members may use their current number. Please put your number on the left side window and right side of your windshield.

Buy-backs will go right into 2nd round. You may deep stage on the .4 light. No deep stages on the .5 light.

Trophy and Sportsman cars must have seat belts, battery tie downs, and an overflow can. You must wear helmets.

For safety reasons, passengers are not allowed in racecars.

All drivers under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form signed before they can race.

No drinking and driving. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.

Any kind of spill during elimination that results in clean up will result in disqualification.

Speed limit on the return road is 7 MPH. No burn outs on the return road or the big end of the track.

BREAK RULE: If the car you run against wins but cannot make the next round your car is back in the race. The tower must be told this before the next round. Your car has to be ready for the next round. This means you are not loaded on a trailer or have left the track. This rule does not apply to semis and last (2) cars left in each bracket.

During eliminations watch the scoreboards for dial in. If dial in is wrong, stop and tell the starter.

Any infractions seen by driver will be settled before the hold line. Past hold line that run is history.

PIT BIKES: Due to insurance reasons, all riders must be 16 years or older. You may not joyride on premises. If you use a bike to tow with or pick up time slips, put your car number on the bike.

In case of a dispute, the owner/operator’s decision is final.

RAIN OUTS

No refunds. If weather halts racing after first round, money will be split. If rain starts before time trials, full credit will be given to each racer. Trophy cars still in will be given rain checks to the next race.

Spectators: No cash refunds. If weather halts race prior to the first round, rain checks will be given. If first round has been completed the race will be considered completed—no refunds, rain checks, or trades will be made.
